RAO RAMESH  is an Indian actor who enacted character roles and as an antagonist with different presentation, born 21, April 1968 at Srikakulam, to actor Rao Gopal Rao a legendary actor of Telugu Film Industry. Rao Ramesh debuted through a movie”Seema Simham “in 2002 as a brother to Simran. The one quality he inherited from his father is dialogue delivery. In fact, Rao Ramesh is known for his deep baritone voice that lends much seriousness to his characters. He may be inspired by his father but he never tried to imitate him.

GAMYAM a movie directed by Jagarlamudi Krish in which Rao Ramesh played a role of a ex- Naxalite a character which does not have any relation with the main script will enter and change the walk of the movie. Abhi (Sharwanand) a spoiled brat, hails from a wealthy family starts loving a girl whose background is quite different from him.this starts a misunderstanding and she leaves him and she will be on the way for her campaigning. Abhi will start searching for her on the way he will meet Gali Seenu (Naresh) a motorbike thief, they start searching together. They will come across a confrontation with a local goon, Rao Ramesh will save them at a gunpoint. Again they will meet him on the way when he was targeted by Naxals, in the scenario of saving him they will enter the forest along with him. The Naxals will surround them and the leader of the Dalam starts questioning the integrity of Rao Ramesh. But he escapes in the process with the help of Abhi and Seenu, his appearance on the screen was for a very limited time but the impact of the character and his dialogues are memorable. The conversation between him and the commander of the Naxals portrays their ideological differences and this makes Abhi relate to his life and try to fight for Rao Ramesh’s life, whose point of view makes him feel that it is the right path for prosperity.

Rao Ramesh completed his degree in communications before getting into “Still Photography” he later joined as an assistant to K.S.Prakash Rao a cinematographer brother of director K. Raghavendra Rao.

After Rao Gopal Rao’s death in 1994, he found himself busy managing family affairs for the next 7 years. During this 7 years, he was a voracious reader of acclaimed writers of prose and poetry.
