How to report an error
Email [email protected] with the article link, what is incorrect, and, if possible, a source for the correct information. We review every request.
How we correct
- Small errors (spelling, a date or name that does not change the meaning) are fixed directly.
- Factual errors that change the meaning of a story are corrected, and a note is added at the end of the article: “Correction: An earlier version of this article said … This has been corrected.”
- If a story turns out to be untrue, we update it to say so or remove it, and explain why where appropriate.
Response time
We aim to review correction requests within 48 hours.
