10. NIJAM

Nijam is directed and produced by Teja and was released in 2003. Though not a huge commercial hit, this movie definitely deserves the awards it has received. It is the story of a mother and son duo who are forced to become serial killers for rightful justice which they were denied by corrupt officials. Through this movie, Mahesh Babu has shown the other dimension of his acting skills and the transformation from being a nerdy weakling to hero-on-mission was enacted with so much poise. Talluri Rameshwari and Gopichand whose roles are pivotal to the story have done it with great perfection.

09. 1 – NENOKKADINE

Nenokkadine is a Sukumar’s directorial, released in the year 2014 and it is a deviation from typical Tollywood formula movies. The script was perfectly executed by Sukumar and screenplay of this movie is worth an applaud. Mahesh Babu plays the role of a Rockstar who has a psychological disorder due to which he creates situations in his mind. The way in which Mahesh Babu portrays the struggle he undergoes within himself to distinguish between truth and hallucination has proved that Mahesh Babu is indeed Prince of Acting.

08. SVSC

In an era where well-established stars do not prefer to do multi- starrer films, this movie could be considered as trend-setter. Mahesh Babu with Godavari slang and quirky one-liners, gave a realistically fresh performance in this movie. With great emphasis on values, family bonding and emotions, this movie got well-connected to middle-class family audience. Director Srikanth Addala has managed to put the notion ‘Manishi ante ne manchivadu’ successfully in the heads of audience through this movie.

Dookudu is an out and out Mahesh Babu Starrer commercial entertainer and is the highest grosser of 2011 in Telugu cinema.
