Synopsis:
Petta is a 2019 action film written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kalanithi Maran under his production studio Sun Pictures.
CAST: The film stars Rajinikanth with an ensemble cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, M. Sasikumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, J. Mahendran and Guru Somasundaram.

PETTA is a film strictly aimed at fans, successfully caters them ’alone ‘. Petta has a clichéd story, adding salt to the wounds it has poorly made second half. Rajini’s vintage mannerisms, his stylish looks are the saving grace in this high budgeted film. Except the core fans and masses, others may find this film disappointing. Young director Karthik Subbaraj couldn’t make the cut.

Peta starts off on a dull mode but it slowly picks up by the interval. Hardly, any story takes place in the first half but the premise looks solid by the end of the first half. The fans would totally love the interval sequence without any doubt. Like it was promoted, the film actually looks like a love letter from the fan to his favorite demigod
