Top Reviewers:
TELUGU 360 (Rating: 2.5/5):
“Guntur Kaaram” is a mediocre movie overall. The aspects that give it some appeal are Mahesh Babu’s portrayal, his dialogue delivery, and his dance. which managed to rescue the film to a degree. However, the second half of the movie is dull and negates the somewhat positive impact of the first half. Trivikram’s distinctive style is noticeably absent in this film. Additionally, in terms of production value, this film is notably the least expensive among Mahesh Babu’s films.
Great Andhra (Rating: 2/5):
Guntur Kaaram has wafer thin plot with flat narration. Mahesh Babu’s action is the only element that worked in favor of the movie. Some parts of comedy in both halves is okay, but the rest underwhelms. Trivikram is not at his best this time from Dialogues and emotions standpoint. Music/ BGM is a big let down except for the chartbuster Kurchi song.. overall its an average commercial film for this Sankranthi and its boxoffice power would heavily depend on other releases this season
Mirchi9 (Rating: 2.25/5):
Overall, Guntur Kaaram can be watched once with low expectations during the festive season, without expecting much originality, action, or emotions, other than Mahesh’s energy.
123TELUGU (Rating: 2.75/5):
On the whole, Guntur Kaaram manages to entertain in parts, relying heavily on Mahesh Babu’s screen presence, accent, and one-liners. However, its drawbacks, including a thin storyline, sluggish screenplay, and superfluous scenes, may limit its broader appeal. While Guntur Kaaram may not impress all sections of the audience this Sankranthi season, Mahesh Babu fans may find it watchable thanks to the actor’s one-man show in an energetic and charismatic avatar.
Times Of India (Rating: 2.75/5):
In its entirety, Guntur Kaaram falls short of meeting expectations as a below-average entertainer. While Mahesh Babu’s impactful mass elevations add some vigor, Trivikram, unfortunately, misses the mark in providing comprehensive entertainment for movie enthusiasts. The weakness in Trivikram’s storytelling, coupled with a spineless script and uninspiring screenplay, contributes to the film’s overall underwhelming performance.
