TELUGU360 (Rating: 4/5):
Aditya Dhar has been successful in getting the right emotions throughout the film. The film has a patriotic touch and Aditya Dhar narrates every scene in detail. Though the film has a number of boring moments, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is packed with several high moments that offer goosebumps. The second half of the film is the highlight. On the whole, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is quite impressive and it performs big at the box-office.
INDIA TODAY (Rating: 3.5/5):
Dhurandhar: The Revengeis not subtle cinema. It is loud, unapologetic, and absolutely certain of itself. But within that loudness lies design, control, and a clear cinematic voice. It speaks of a “new India,” but more significantly, it attempts to shape what “new Hindi cinema” can look like: fearless, excessive, and unwilling to explain itself. This is a film that doesn’t ask for your agreement. It demands your attention. And just when you think you have grasped it, it leaves you with a warning, almost a dare: And trust us, you are still not ready for this.
MIRCHI9 (Rating: 3.75/5):
Overall, the director, Aditya Dhar, lived up to all the expectations with ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. There are many episodes in the film that give you adrenaline and make you feel immensely satisfied. It is a film that is made with utmost conviction and is sure to be watched at a packed theatre. Yes, it is almost four hours long but barring a very few episodes where the pace dropped a bit, the rest of the film is immensely engaging and entertaining.
123TELUGU.COM (Rating: 3.75/5):
On the whole, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a highly satisfying sequel that does full justice to the ticket price. Aditya Dhar respects the audience’s intelligence and delivers a solid output that comfortably surpasses the high expectations the film carries. Ranveer Singh’s performance is one to remember for a long time, and he is ably supported by Arjun Rampal and the rest of the cast. The political themes may generate discussions, and the songs could have been still better. Nonetheless, do yourself a favor and experience this gem of a film in the best theatre possible. This one is set to obliterate box office records. Highly recommended.
