Top Reviewers:

TELUGU 360 (Rating: 2.75/5):

Arjun S/O Vyjayanti caters partially to mass audiences. Though the climax delivers a few satisfying high points, the overall impact is diluted by its routine and predictable treatment. Despite some well-executed fight sequences, the formulaic narration holds it back. In the end, it’s a passable watch for fans of mass or regular action films.

Great Andhra (Rating: 2.25/5):

The film is watchable at times but the outdated and predictable screenplay hamper the flow. The director banks heavily on the climax portion which stands out for its novelty and shock factor. Kalyan Ram definitely deserves praise for attempting it.

Mirchi9 (Rating: 2.25/5):

Overall, Arjun Son of Vyjayanthi is a film where the hero and director placed their trust on the old-school formula, believing that the mother sentiment still works. However, they conveniently ignored how much the present audience has evolved. It’s a miscalculated project on all counts.

123TELUGU (Rating: 3/5):

On the whole, Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi is a watchable emotional action drama that stands out for its lead performances by Kalyan Ram and Vijayashanti. While the storyline is familiar, its execution keeps it watchable. Some emotional scenes could have been better written, and a few exaggerated moments might not work for everyone. But if you’re someone who enjoys action films with a touch of emotion, this film is worth a watch this weekend.

Times Of India (Rating: 2.5/5):

On the whole, the director Pradeep Chilukuri tried to showcase an ideological battle between a mother and a son but he couldn’t convince us. Ajaneesh Lokanath’s BGM and Production values are good but really nothing worked to make us sit and take a note. It is time to reinvent commercial formula for Telugu Cinema has this sort of packaging is getting old and tedious. Arjun fails to impress us even though he tries a little bit too hard.
