One of the most anticipated films of Tollywood at the moment happens to be Mahanati, the biopic of legendary yesteryear actress Savithri, directed by Yevade Subramanyam fame Nag Ashwin The film’s lead pair, Keerthi Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan have recreated magic in the still by bringing to the fore the eternal love saga of Gemini Ganeshan and Savitri.
The movie had its audio launch held recently, Keerthi’s perfect looks and with the stills and the promos evoking huge interest, especially the actress had to try nearly 120 costumes and applied prosthetics. the sincerity of the makers in bringing alive Savithri through Keerthy, Mahanati has gained huge expectations. Meanwhile, the film underwent its Censor process recently.
Mahanati has been certified a clean U by the CBFC ,and the movie produced by Vyjayanthi films is all set to release on May 9 planned earlier. The tamil version Nadigaiyar Thilagam will release on May 11, as ordered by the TFPC’s film release regulation committee. The key actors in the movie keerthi suresh , Dulquer salman ,Samantha and Vijay devarakonda have all dubbed themselves in Telugu and Tamil.
