Sensible director KRISHNA VAMSI narrowly escaped from a snake bite during the shoot of movie “ANTHAM” 1992, lead role played by Nagarjuna under the direction of Ram Gopal Varma. Location was the candy forest of Sri Lanka which is one of the thick forests in the world. He was working as an assistant director for Ram Gopal Varma those days. Director Teja was the cameraman, both of them on the job of fixing a long shot frame. As per Teja’s request, he was walking back to confirm the distance, Teja was observing him through the camera, All of a sudden some smooth thing slipped beneath his legs. When he turned back and aghast to see an eight feet long black snake was in attacking posture beside him, Krishna Vamsi involuntarily took a long jump to a distance of Olympic records. He fell down with a blank mind all the people surrounded him, meanwhile, the snake had its cool way out from the scene without hurting anybody. Thanks to BLACK MAMBA.
