Top Reviewers:
TELUGU 360 (Rating: 3.25/5):
‘Bimbisara’ is worth a watch. It mixes elements as diverse as redemption, expansionism, virtue vs vice, time-travel fantasy, and beyond. The visuals and writing make the mark.
Great Andhra (Rating: 3/5):
Bimbisara is one such socio-fantasy movie that goes above the genre with a compelling time-travel storyline. Kalyan Ram’s fierce acting and Vassishta’s perfect presentation are the highlights. The film’s shifting timelines and parallel screenplay keep the viewers engaged throughout the entire running duration and satisfy them with big twists. With its own originality and distinctiveness, Bimbisara is a fantasy experience worth watching.
Mirchi9 (Rating: 2.75/5):
Overall, Bimbisara works mainly due to the story that presents old tropes freshly and a smooth screenplay. They hold the attention, and that’s a job well done. Give the movie a try if you like folklore tales. There is an additional tweak to it, which helps, however, have the expectations in check..
123TELUGU (Rating: 3.25/5):
On the whole, Bimbisara is a well made fantasy drama with a solid backdrop and entertainment. Kalyan Ram gives his career best performance and the narration is gripping. Apart from a few patchy scenes in the second half, this film has emotions, action, comedy and good visuals that will be lapped by the audience and ends as a interesting film to watch on the big screen. Go for it.
Times Of India (Rating: 3.5/5):
Overall, Bimbisara is a storyline that has a new concept of time travel that starts good but slows down with routine narrative later on. With the sci-fi storyline and Kalyan Ram’s performance, Bimbisara has got fair chance to impress the audience.
