Rana transformed his body and lost huge weight to essay the role of Nara Chandra Babu Naidu for the film. Speaking on the incident Balayya said: “I had seen Rana on the first day of the film’s shoot but could not recognize him in the new look I just thought Rana as one of the trespassers, later when Krish informed, Balakrishna was surprised when he came to know that he was none other than Rana in his new look for the film.
