Top Reviewers:

TELUGU360.COM (Rating: 2.5/5):

Overall, Maa Inti Bangaram is a decent action thriller that works mainly because of Samantha’s performance. If you watch it without huge expectations and simply want to see Samantha in a powerful role, you’ll likely enjoy it. Just be prepared for a slower and less engaging second half.

HINUSTAN TIMES (Rating: 3/5):

Give Samantha more action films with heart because she clearly thrives in the genre. As Swarna and Kiranmayi love to say, “Let’s come on!” Could Maa Inti Bangaaram have been better? Sure. But this is not a film that will leave you itching to go towards the exit sign. You’ll even want to stick around till the end for the cameo by Vennela Kishore during the credits. Now that’s a win.

GULTE.COM (Rating: 2.75/5):

Overall, Maa Inti Bangaaram deserves a watch in theatres with friends and family for its very well-executed first half, clean humour, slick action sequences and Samantha’s performance. It is most likely to work well with the patronage of the family audience. However, the second half of the film did not completely live up to the expectations set by the first half. A bit more care in writing and executing the second half, would have made the film a sure-shot blockbuster.

123TELUGU.COM (Rating: 3/5):

On the whole, Maa Inti Bangaaram is a decent family drama that is single-handedly carried by Samantha. The first half is mostly amusing with good humor, and after the fun part, the action scenes are another highlight of the film. However, the second half turns slow and predictable, and had enough care been taken here, the overall impact could have been far better. Samantha remains the mainstay of the film and she makes it watchable with her impressive performance.

TIMES OF INDIA (Rating: 3.25/5):

Overall, Maa Inti Bangaaram is a well-made family drama with several enjoyable moments. Samantha leads from the front, and characters like Sreemukhi provide an added bonus. If you keep your expectations in check and gel with the slightly timid second half, the film turns out to be a decent watch this weekend.
