Ugram film takes off Good but falls slightly short of satisfaction by the end. Naresh is impressive, the patchy direction is the culprit. Overall this film might appeal to mass audience on average scale, for others not upto the mark.

Ugram is a suspense mystery thriller that keeps one guessing by the end of the first half but goes down south in the second half. Although Naresh and BGM are the only positives in the movie, Lack of emotional connect, unexciting conflict reason, dragged climax and 2nd half makes it a below average watch.

Overall, Ugram is a potpourri of typical commercial cop fares and action thrillers with different core content. It works in parts but lacks a seamless narrative and emotional factor to reach the next level. Give it a try for the effort, but have expectations in check.

On the whole, Ugram is a decent action thriller. Allari Naresh goes all out and gives a commendable performance. A few scenes in both halves are nicely executed and all the action blocks are terrific. But the main issue is with the familiar storyline as it restricts the film to go the next level. Hence Ugram ends up being one time watch this weekend.
