TELUGU 360 (Rating: 2.75/5):
Zombie Reddy offers a new experience for Tollywood audience who never experienced the genre of Zombies. After a disappointing first half, the second half of Zombie Reddy sticks to the genre and offers impressive stuff. It works in parts
Great Andhra (Rating: 2/5):
Since this genre has never been attempted in Telugu cinema earlier, it will appeal to only limited audiences. ‘Zombie Reddy’ is not entirely entertaining, but it does offer some fun. There is a novelty factor, but it should have been narrated in a more engaging way.
Mirchi9 (Rating: 2.5/5):
Overall, the first half of Zombie Reddy shows us a glimpse of the potential. The final product, however, disappoints. A feeling of satisfaction is missing due to a weak second half when genre cliches dominate. It is here that Zombie Reddy loses the plot. Give it a try, if you want to see something outlandish on Telugu screen.
123TELUGU (Rating: 3/5):
On the whole, Zombie Reddy is a time pass masala film that has a very good premise. Decent comedy, engaging thrills, and taut second half are basic assets. If you ignore the slow first half and some over the top scenes here and there, this film ends as a decent watch this weekend.
Times Of India (Rating: 3/5):
Zombie Reddy does have its moments and all the cast, including Teja, Anandhi and Daksha seem to have fun with what they’re offered. This is not a bad film by any means, if only Prasanth had not gone down the predictable route, it would’ve been something more. Give it a chance this weekend if you love zombies but keep your expectations in check.
