Top Reviewers:
TELUGU 360 (Rating: 2.5/5):
Tuck Jagadish is a dated story, which eventually goes down a predictable path. Natural Star Nani and competent performances from the rest of the cast save this film to an extent. The slow-paced family story might be a passable watch for the OTT audience.
Great Andhra (Rating: 2.75/5):
All in all, it is a mixed bag. But it makes a neat watch on the OTT platform. The makers made a wise decision of releasing it on Amazon Prime instead of theaters.
Mirchi9 (Rating: 2.25/5):
Overall, Tuck Jagadish is melodramatic kitsch. It is a poor rehash of countless similar films from previous decades. The actors do their best but fail to rise above the hackneyed narrative. Tuck Jagadish is only for hardcore Nani fans.
123TELUGU (Rating: 3/5):
On the whole, Tuck Jagadish is a typical village-based family drama that has good emotions and twists in the first half. Nani plays the sheet anchor’s role and shoulders the film with his standout performance. The narration gets bogged down a bit in the second half but the pre-climax and ending are handled well making this film a simple and clean watch this weekend.
Times Of India (Rating: 2.5/5):
Tuck Jagadish promised to be the film that one could enjoy with family right at home on Vinayaka Chavithi. And while it doesn’t live up to that promise, it does have relatable moments that might stay with you. But if you’re tired of same old formulaic films that depend on emotions to carry it through, so are we.
