Synopsis:
Tillu Square is an Indian Telugu-language romantic crime comedy film directed by Mallik Ram and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. It is the sequel to the 2022 film DJ Tillu.

Overall, Tillu Square entertains, engages, and makes you laugh. Tillu Square had the threat from DJ Tillu in the form of comparison, but the director cleverly used the first part’s story and cashed in its hype to make Tillu Square enjoyable.

Tillu Square, starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and directed by Mallik Ram, may not quite match up to the impact of its predecessor, “DJ Tillu,” primarily due to its similar vibes and a high dosage of bold scenes, including kissing and smooching. Additionally, it lacks the spark ignited by Siddhu and Neha Shetty, despite Neha making a cameo appearance. However, despite these shortcomings, “Tillu Square” succeeds in delivering entertainment with its witty one-liners, ensuring hearty laughs for viewers in theaters.

On the whole, Tillu Square is a neat sequel to DJ Tillu, with an abundant amount of entertainment. Siddhu as Tillu is the heart and soul of this madcap entertainer, and he will once again win over us with his amusing comedy timing, screen presence, and mannerisms. The story is pretty much the same as the first installment, and a few scenes will give us a Deja Vu feeling. The first half is a bit underwhelming, and a few aspects don’t look convincing. But the majority of the second half is filled with non-stop entertainment that works pretty well. There are hiccups, but the entertainment factor keeps the film going. Those who liked DJ Tillu will end up liking this sequel as well. Go for it.

Overall, Tillu Square is a perfect sequel to DJ Tillu and lives up to the hype. Siddhu Jonnalagadda will be a massive star in the days to come and he delivers solid entertainment. Anupama Parameswaran is just icing on the cake in this wacky entertainer.
