Top Reviewers:

TELUGU 360 (Rating: 3/5):

This underdog story definitely needed a better narrative here and there. But what makes ‘SIR’ a good watch are the emotions that tug at the heartstrings. Able performances, occasionally rousing scenes, and the right message make ‘SIR’ a winner.

Great Andhra (Rating: 2.25/5):

Sir is a film that has a meaningful lesson at its core. However, it is told in a very unentertaining manner and in a very routine template that it becomes a bore after a point.

Mirchi9 (Rating: 2.75/5):

Overall, Sir is very predictable story-wise, but it works because it has its heart in the right place. If emotional dramas with little comic relief are your thing, Sir is the movie to watch out for this weekend.

123TELUGU (Rating: 3/5):

On the whole, Dhanush’s Sir is a decent social drama that talks about the education mafia in the present times. Besides impressive emotional scenes, the movie has an underlying message for the society. Dhanush excels in his role and solely lifts the film up. Barring a few unnecessary scenes in the second half, you can give the film a watch this weekend.

Times Of India (Rating: 3/5):

Sir is a film that has no time for nonsense, but it could’ve been better.
