He made his debut as a lead actor in a Kannada film Ajaramara in 2017. Ponnappa was also a part of some iconic movies like KGF and Devara Chapter 1.

He has modeled in many fashion shows like Orion Festival of Giving, Karnataka Fashion Week (2013), Femina Wedding Show (2015).

FACT 03:

He has also appeared in commercials for various brands like John Players, Knockout Soda, Shashi Vangapalli Couture. Also, he did the show Raja Rani (2018) which aired on Kannada television channel Colors Super.

FACT 04:

He played the lead role as a young gangster named Anthony in the critically acclaimed Kannada short film Awartha (2019). This earned him an award in the SIIMA Awards in the Best Actor category.

FACT 05:

Regarding his Kannada projects, Tarak Ponappa is currently considering scripts and receiving offers for lead roles. “People should recognise the actor in me, not just my physique and appearance, and that’s how I approach choosing my roles,” he says.
