DHARMAVARAPU SUBRAMANYAM, a complete actor and film director in Telugu film Industry, He also hosted several popular Television Shows. He was born on 20 September 1960, at Kommineni Vari Palem of Prakasam Dist, Andhra Pradesh. He died at age of 53, on 7, December 2013, at Hyderabad.

Bhale Rao a co-pilgrim of Subramanyam (Sivaji ) and Sailaja (  Laila )  in an Annavaram trip in a movie His name was Bhale Rao who is having prawn culture ponds at a place called Buchireddypalem of Nellore district. His dialogue diction reflects the pure Nellore slang which is having its own identity among the Andhra Pradesh slangs. Whenever he exclaims, he uses a phrase”  NA ROYYA “ ( Oh my Prawn). Dharmavarapu is known for his dialogue delivery, made this character hilarious and recognized. The conversation between Venkatachalam(Krishna Bhagavan) a guide, and Bhale Rao will be continuously hilarious.
Due to a certain incident, Sailaja and Krishnamurthy are separated in Annavaram. Each one of them does not know the whereabouts of another person, Sailaja and Krishnamurthy realize that they had fallen in love. They start searching each other, Krishnamurthy is an employee of Gemini T.V. Telecast his story as a daily serial hoping Sailaja will see and meet him. It is Bhale Rao who identify Sailaja at Hyderabad and inform the same to Krishnamurthy. Which generates hope in Krishnamurthy and audience. Finally, Krishnamurthy and Sailaja meet each other in a dramatic condition created by Gemini T.V. Bhale Rao’s character may be small but played a pivotal role in the climax.

Subramanyam had originally worked as a Government Employee, He became popular through his comedy serial “Anando Brahma” which he both acted and directed. It was aired on Doordarshan in the year 1980s.

His first film appearance was in the Jandhyala directed Jayammu Nischayammu Raa in 1989. He was renowned for his comedic roles and flawless dialogue delivery.
