As NTR and B Saroja Devi were considered a hit pair, director Krish thought of having a star heroine and Anushka has given the acceptance.

The role is like a cameo and Anushka will have less screen presence when compared to the other actresses compare to Rakul Preet Singh and Tamannaah, the first part NTR-Kathanayakudu will be releasing on 9th January and the second part NTR-Mahanayakudu will be releasing on 24th January.
