SRIHARI AS C.I SRIHARI

SRIHARI a real star of Telugu Film Industry debuted as villain, comedian, character actor turned into HERO. Raghumudri Srihari born on 15 August  1964, Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh, died 9th October 2013, at Mumbai. He was active mainly in Telugu Cinema and appeared in few Tamil, Kannada and Hindi movies as well.

SAMUDRAM is 1999 Telugu action film directed by Krishna Vamsi. Srihari and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.C.I. Srihari(Srihari)  is an honest police officer newly appointed to that area. Krishnam Raju (Sivaji Raja) S.I. of the same area is very loyal to him. Both of them get to know about all the criminals in that area and Chepala Krishna (Tanikella Bharani) tops the most wanted criminals’ list. When Chepala Krishna is about to file his nomination for the post of an M.L.A, he gets arrested by Srihari. Srihari makes sure that Chepala  Krishna would not go to the assembly by booking him as a rowdy sheeter.

Chepala Krishna becomes wild and develops vengeance towards Srihari and decides to kill him. Chepala Krishna plans a trap to kill Srihari and he passes the message as his brother Nani (Ravi Teja) doing smuggling activity at a particular place, anxious Srihari and Krishnam Raju will move to the spot in order to arrest Nani. Srihari spots Nani and starts chasing him with the help of Krishnam  Raju. As the chasing gang enters the street, Nani and Krishnam Raju both joins hands and kills Srihari, Innocent Sagar (Jagapathi Babu) sees everything and tries to save Srihari but he will be convicted in the same murder and sentenced for his life. Which Turns the walk of the movie, the performance of Srihari is the highlight of the movie.
