Superstar Krishna always had a feel to bring something new for his audience. So far his 100th film, he wanted to experiment with the role of Alluri Seetarama Raju. He has earlier played a short role of Alluri Seetarama Raju in the movie ‘Asadyudu’ which was received well by the audience. This time he wanted to make a complete film Seetarama Raju, but many people from industry were against this idea thinking that movie would have a monotonous look as it has to be shot completely in the forests, there would be no scope for extravagant costumes or duet songs or fights etc. Later when the movie went into production, it turned out to be a very expensive movie as it has to be shot in Chinthapalli forest, where there was no human activity and camps have to be set up for everyone. Once the movie got released it became a super duper hit and it can be considered as a milestone in Superstar’s carrier.
