The makers of Maharshi had got permission to screen special shows and to increase the ticket price in A/P and T/S which worked out pretty well, apart from Nizam area Guntur district is in the second place with Rs 4.4 Cr share. In the US, Maharshi had 2500 premiere shows and is the biggest ever Telugu Cinema release in the US and has collected $511k (Rs 3.57 crores).
