S R Kalyana Mandapam first half is adequate, the second half could have been better. Saikumar’s performance and characterization are good, Father-Son relation thread works. However, the narration is very inconsistent. Overall, an average film that may work in small towns.

SR Kalyanamandapam has a partly engaging opening half but the drabby second half is a downer. Barring the father-son emotional thread, no aspect of the film is compelling enough. The film, as a whole, is underwhelming.

On the whole, SR Kalyanamandam is a father-son story with a good backdrop. Kiran Abbavaram and Sai Kumar do well in this village drama and hold the screen. If you ignore the unnecessary build up scenes and lag in the first half, this film ends as a passble watch for the songs and some good emotions in the second half.
