TELUGU SWAG RATING:
Top Reviewers:
TELUGU 360 (Rating: 2.25/5):
Saindhav, on the whole, falls short of expectations, emerging as a mediocre thriller. Sailesh Kolanu, despite the trust placed in him by Venkatesh for his milestone 75th film, failed to deliver a compelling narrative. Venkatesh, giving his best to carry the film on his shoulders, faced an uphill battle against a lackluster script, uninspiring screenplay, and direction that lacked the necessary momentum. Unfortunately, the pieces failed to come together cohesively, resulting in a disjointed cinematic experience.
Great Andhra (Rating: 2/5):
Despite Sailesh Kolanu’s remarkable transformation of Venkatesh into Saindhav, encompassing distinct mannerisms, screen presence, and body language, the film Saindhav ultimately falters due to Kolanu’s shortcomings as a screenwriter and director. This combination of a commendable performance and an ineffective screenplay and direction led to the film’s failure to make an impact on audiences.
Mirchi9 (Rating: 2.25/5):
Overall, Saindhav, expected to deliver an emotional punch using action, does not arrive, making it an unexciting watch. Try it with low expectations for Venky on the screen during the festive season.
123TELUGU (Rating: 2.75/5):
On the whole, Saindhav has a good concept, but the narrative is underwhelming and flat for the most part. Venkatesh’s dashing performance and the last half an hour are the biggest assets of Saindhav. Despite having talented actors by his side, the director didn’t provide them with good roles. The background score is one more biggest drawback, which brings down the impact considerably. Venky’s performance and a few emotional moments make the movie an okayish fare. Hence, it is advised to keep your expectations in check.
Times Of India (Rating: 3/5):
Overall, Saindhav is an intriguing attempt at blending emotional depth with action, but its execution doesn’t consistently hit the mark. It has engaging moments, and serves as a testament to the evolving nature of Telugu cinema, where traditional storytelling is being melded with contemporary cinematic sensibilities.
