Top Reviewers:

TELUGU 360 (Rating: 2.5/5):

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona has its thrills and chills, but the flat narrative in many of the scenes pushes them all the way down. Overall, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona is a time-pass horror comedy, where both horror and comedy work only in parts.

Great Andhra (Rating: 2/5):

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, despite the hype created by Sundeep Kishan and VI. Anand, falls short of expectations. The film fails to deliver even a fraction of the excitement it promised. A rework of the story and script could have prevented this disappointment.

Mirchi9 (Rating: 2.25/5):

Overall, “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona” works in parts, especially the interval episode, but as a whole, it lacks clarity on the Bhairavakona world-building, and the love track also doesn’t click well. Try it if you like to watch something different and have little expectations.

123TELUGU (Rating: 2.5/5):

On the whole, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona is an ambitious attempt at blending fantasy and love elements, but the end result is underwhelming. The first half is passable, while the second half is below-par. Sundeep Kishan, Viva Harsha, Varsha Bollamma, and Kavya Thapar are fine in their respective roles and the comedy scenes engage us. The makers tried to offer everything to the audience by mixing various genres, but the movie doesn’t pack a punch ultimately due to the substandard execution. Had the emotional and thrilling portions been handled better, the movie could have been a satisfactory watch. Hence, it is advised to watch Ooru Peru Bhairavakona with low expectations.

Times Of India (Rating: 2.25/5):

Overall, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona is a disappointing attempt from VI Anand and Sundeep Kishan. While the first half makes sense, things go out of hand in the second half. A good subject is spoilt by some illogical and silly narration making this film a below-par watch this weekend.
