Top Reviewers:
TELUGU 360 (Rating: 2/5):
If the story had more depth, it could have been another Iqbal — an underdog story of small town aspirations and triumph against all odds. But it falls way short. Kukunoor’s Telugu debut film could have been so much more.
Great Andhra (Rating: 1/5):
In a nutshell, “Good Luck Sakhi” is boring. Those who watched the film like us are the ones who are running with bad luck.
Mirchi9 (Rating: 2/5):
Overall, Good Luck Sakhi is a boring and bland sports drama. The writing gets the primary blame, besides weak characterization and insipid drama. What we have is a film that is neither arty (in an entirely authentic and rooted sense) nor commercial. It is a film that can be easily skipped if you are an avid watcher of the genre.
123TELUGU (Rating: 2.25/5):
On the whole, Good Luck Sakhi is a slow-paced sports drama that makes you feel bad for Keerthy Suresh. Though the actress delivered her best, it couldn’t help in making the movie a winner. The film has nothing much to offer and even Keerthy couldn’t save it. Good Luck Sakhi failed to hit the bullseye.
Times Of India (Rating: 2.5/5):
Keerthy does a good job of essaying Sakhi, you can see she gave the film her all. Aadhi and Jagapathi Babu, plus Rahul Ramakrishna remain as dependable as always. If only Good Luck Sakhi had something coherent to back them up. We know by now that Nagesh Kukunoor can do way better.
