For the physically demanding role of ‘M SUBRAMANYAM’ in the film ‘YEVADE SUBRAMANYAM’, he took bath only 8 times in 40 days as the shooting took place at the base camp of Mount Everest.

He was also a Radio Jockey at world space satellite in hyderabad and got famous with a program by the name, ‘Nonstop Nani,.

His beard in the film ‘Ninnu Kori’ is an artificial one, it took three hours for fitting it to Nani daily on the sets. An  American has designed this beard, especially for Nani.

He has been in love with Anjana for over 5 years and then they got married without the permission of their parents. Later on, the couple got married in their presence.
