Top Reviewers

TELUGU 360 (Rating: 2.75/5)

Chitralahari has a story that connects to youth, preaches to believe in self! The director honestly tries to deliver an inspirational message, but fails as a movie maker. This film is just an average film.

Times Of India (Rating: 3/5)

Watch it especially for Sai Dharam Tej, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Nivetha Pethuraj and their honest performances. Give it a chance this weekend if you don’t mind a sketchy narrative and you might just find the perfect summer watch.

123telugu (Rating: 3/5)

On the whole, Chitralahari is the emotional story of an underdog with some decent moments in both the halves. But the slow pace and serious tone of the film may not be liked by a section of the audience who come expecting entertainment.

Mirchi9 (Rating: 2.25/5)

In the end, Chitralahari has moments that no doubt engage. There is good casting and writing is neat whether or not it engages. But, when seen Chitralahari as a whole, something is amiss. There is a lacking, and that is the failure of the movie, making it a below-par outing.

India Glitz (Rating: 2.75/5)

'Chitralahari' makes the cut in the last 35 minutes. Had cliches been avoided, it would have been a different film. The love track could have been way better. Comedy quotient is just meagre. Sai Dharam and Nivetha score marks with their acts. The dialogues make a mark.

Great Andhra (Rating: 2.5/5)

It begins as a peppy youthful entertainer but ends as a preachy message-oriented movie. Nevertheless, it does have some moments here and there but they don’t give an engaging feel.

Gulte (Rating: 2.75/5)

Chitralahari does well in ticking some boxes right. It has a likable lead character and a fairly decent romantic track. The characters are fleshed out and the songs are on the money. A few well-written scenes and dialogues keep the film from falling flat. But it didn't have a strong and emotional second half that is a must to make it a must watch.

FilmiBeat (Rating: 2/5)

Chitralahari had the potential to be a winner but fails to live up to expectations due to poor execution.
