Top Reviewers:

Telugu360 (Rating: 3.25/5):

Kuberaa leaves a few questions unanswered towards the end. These niggles stop the story from being wholly compelling. Music composer Devi Sri Prasad who deftly switches between the different worlds, makes us overlook a few rough edges with his score that is sometimes subdued and at other times, rousing.

Great Andhra (Rating: 3/5):

Sekhar Kammula has stepped out from his comfort zone for Kubera and this film stands as one of the memorable ones in his career.

Mirchi9 (Rating: 3/5):

Overall, Kuberaa offers a completely fresh plot, with neatly written drama and emotions that consistently work, making it a satisfying theatrical watch.

123TELUGU (Rating: 3/5):

On the whole, Kuberaa is a sincere, engaging, emotionally driven drama that tackles themes of poverty, power, and survival. It thrives on outstanding performances, particularly by Dhanush, who delivers a stunning act, and Nagarjuna, who impresses in a morally complex role. Jim Sarbh adds further intensity, and the film closes on a strong note. Yes, it has its flaws, a slow first half, some repetitive sequences, and underutilised characters, but the core of the story remains strong. Sekhar Kammula delivers a meaningful film that combines human emotion with social realism. In the end, Kuberaa is a rewarding experience. For those who appreciate layered storytelling, relevant themes, and top-notch acting, this is a film worth watching. Don’t miss it.

Times Of India (Rating: 3.5/5):

Overall, the positives in Kuberaa outdo the flaws by a huge margin. It is certainly worth watching in theatres for Dhanush’s career-best performance, Sekhar Kammula’s writing and execution and last but not least, Devi Sri Prasad’s terrific background score. At the box office, the film has a very good chance to work out well.
