10. SHOBHAN BABU AS A POET WITH A DARK COMPLEXION
Sobhan Babu known for his glamorous looks those days played a role of dark complexion struggling poet who takes help of his friend Nagabhushanam, he convinces his friend to publish his poetry in his name and remains a ghostwriter fearing people might hate him for his looks. Nagabhushanam marries his sister and starts enjoying name and fame. Vanisri becomes a fan of Nagabhushanam and over the period of time, she realizes that Nagabhushanam is a fraud. She comes up with a ruse to expose Nagabhushanam and elicit the truth. Shobab Babu’s acting and the character portrayal by K. Vishwanath makes this movie a must watch.
09. CHANDRA MOHAN AS AN ORPHAN WITH A MANIC SENSE
Chandra Mohan was known for his acting skills played a role of an orphan taking shelter at a local temple. Hero having manic sense and love towards Jayaprada a mute girl who is passionate about dancing helps Jayaprada to become a dancer. As he gets inflicted with T.B, Jayaprada gets to know about this and tries to help him by dancing at Kalakshetra and earn some money for his treatment. Chandra Mohan’s character and the story were so well designed that audience will be engrossed in the story throughout the movie. You cannot miss this flick.
08. CHIRANJEEVI AS A WAITER
Chiranjeevi known for his heroic roles with dances and smashing fights, he played the role of a waiter in a restaurant while Sumalatha is ostracised from her family and rendered jobless for protesting against dowry demands of Satyanarayana Kaikala, it is Chiranjeevi who supports her and marries Sumalatha in due course. The story of the move highlights certain social evils of our society with some subtle emotions. A well settled and mature action of all the actors makes this movie very pleasent narrative of Vishwanath.
07. VENKATESH AS BILLBOARD PAINTER
Venkatesh is PAINTER by his profession is a tenant of Bhanupriya, she is the second daughter of a renowned dancer. Venkatesh a painter is shown to be handling movie promotion. Bhanupriya not interested in dancing. Venkatesh develops an interest in neighbors and tried to help them in whatever way. He can partly because of his unconfessed interest in Bhanupriya and partly because of his interest in the art which to be slowly fading away. The rest of the film is largely built around Bhanupriya. Though it’s a female-centric movie, Venkatesh role is very important in shaping up the personality of Bhanu Priya.
06. MAMMOOTTY AS A CLASSICAL SINGER
Mammootty played a role with negative shades. He played a role of a renowned classical singer who comes across a child prodigy and assumes him to be a future threat for his successful career. Mammootty wants to imprison prodigious talent. Never allows the boy to perform on the stage in the mask of a guru. In this journey of jealousy, Mammootty suffers a heart attack. To show his gratitude to his adopted mother the child prodigy kills himself so that there is no competition for Mammootty.

Moved by his gesture, the master adopts the man,s young son and also leaves behind a share of his property for them. Chandra Mohan plays a role of an idler. Chandra Mohan marries Sulakshana the daughter of an industrialist in order to lead an easy and comfortable life at his in-law’s house. But Sulakshana having independent views moves out of the house which leads to misunderstanding between wife and husband. Chandra Mohan leaves the wife and joins an Ashramam to lead leisure life. But the customs of Ashramam will make him realize how difficult is it to stay at Ashramam and then he leaves the place goes back home. The story revolves around laziness of Chandra Mohan and his escapist nature which eventually leads to becoming a responsible man over a series of events.
