Mallavarapu Suryanarayana popularly known as M.S.NARAYANA was a Telugu Film Actor, Who was a popular and respected comedian in Telugu Films. Born in Nidamarru village near Bhimavaram in West Godavari District on April 16, 1951. M.S.Narayana dabbled in theatre initially while working as a lecturer and entered the film industry as a writer before being introduced as an actor.
Bokka Venkateswara Rao an ambitious sole of becoming a Tollywood hero who runs away, because of his debts and nephew of a local politician. M.S.Narayana impress Ajay (Mahesh) by telling Pokiri dialogue, further he shows a trailer to him in which he enacts as Junior N.T.R, Ram Charan, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Rajinikanth. Ajay who acts as a movie director acts as if he is impressed and take him for the role of the hero. Eventually, he will be framed by Ajay whose motto is taking revenge for his father’s enemies. Ajay declares to Bokka that he is forced to stop the movie, because of financial constraints. Desperate Bokka assures him to continue and he encourages Mahesh to sell the property of his uncle to his brother in law who was a politician and part of a mafia gang.
This entire episode was so hilariously designed that Ajay makes Bokka believe that all the people are being killed because he was cursing them to die. M.S Narayana in the role of a struggling hero living in desperation has become a landmark role of his.
M.S. Narayana played as drunk in close to 300 of the 750 odd films he has acted in. Admittedly he was sober when playing the alcoholic, he never drank on the shoots.
He bagged Film Fare Award as Best Supporting actor for Dookudu movie 2011, and five Nandi Awards.
He has acted in Over 750 films in a short period of 17 years. He expected a Guinness record for his fast 750 films in just 17 Years.
