TELUGU360.COM (Rating: 3/5):

Buchi Babu delivers a story packed with heart, while Ram Charan gives one of his most emotionally powerful performances. There are scenes in the film that genuinely move you to tears. First half is average, second half is good. Go and Watch in Theaters. Peddi certainly has the potential at the Box-office. How far it ultimately goes will be determined by the box office numbers in the coming weeks..

HINUSTAN TIMES (Rating: 3.25/5):

Peddi brings forth a very important conversation in the trappings of a commercial film. How much should a person in this country lose, and how many pieces of themselves must they sacrifice to get something that should’ve been their birthright? It also works well as a sports film because the portions involving cricket, kushti and sprinting have a bigger stake than just winning a game. All this while AR Rahman’s stellar music plays in the background. Where the film falters is when it relies on scenes that add nothing to the story beyond the same old masala. Nonetheless, the film is a win for both Buchi and Ram.

GULTE.COM (Rating: 3/5):

Overall, Peddi, has a few minor flaws but Ramcharan’s finest performance, first rate out from the music direction and cinematography, an inspiring story and honest narration in the second half, made the film a good watch. Especially, there are quite a few sequences in the second half, which have immense repeat value and are sure to be liked by all sections of the audience.

123TELUGU.COM (Rating: 3.25/5):

On the whole, Peddi is an engaging and emotional sports drama elevated largely by Ram Charan’s outstanding performance. His portrayal of the titular character carries the film and delivers several memorable moments, particularly during the emotionally charged climax portions. Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and the supporting cast perform their roles effectively. However, the film is not without flaws. Predictable narrative beats, underutilised supporting characters, and a few emotional sequences that fall short of their intended impact prevent it from reaching its full potential. Despite these shortcomings, Peddi remains an engaging watch, thanks to its blend of sports, emotion, and an inspiring story. Fans of Ram Charan and emotional sports dramas are likely to come away highly satisfied.

TIMES OF INDIA (Rating: 3.5/5):

Despite being a bit lengthy, the film has all the elements to become a good Hit at the box office. Just ignore a few glitches here and there that will entertain you throughout. On the whole, Peddi is a well mate, emotional sports drama that it’s the right note. Ram Charan gives an award winning performance and Buchi Babu Sanana delivers what was expected from him as there are no films which will become Ashu Arshad hit at the box office.
