TELUGU360 (Rating: 2.5/5):

With regard to performances, Keerthy Suresh, Radhika Sarathkumar, Sunil and Redin Kingsley deliver their roles effortlessly and are ably supported by the others. Keerthy Suresh displays toughness and vulnerability in equal measure when required and her committed performance is to be appreciated. Revolver Rita was a good shot for director JK Chandru to showcase his talent but the movie’s uneven screenplay backfires for him unfortunately.

GREAT ANDHRA (Rating: 2/5):

Altogether, Revolver Rita turns out to be a forgettable outing. Keerthy Suresh’s performance turned out to be a mixed bag while JK.Chandru didnot inspire confidence at all with the lacklustre story, screenplay and direction. No amount of rework on the script would have changed the fate of the film

MIRCHI9 (Rating: 2.25/5):

Rita could have been a daring dark comedy with a strong group of women actors. But it doesn’t work because the story isn’t really good, the writing is old-fashioned, and the jokes don’t always work. What could have been a great, fun, and exciting trip turns out to be a failure that no one recalls.

123TELUGU.com (Rating: 2.25/5):

On the whole, Revolver Rita is a disappointing crime comedy that brings nothing new to the table. The film wastes a capable cast, especially Keerthy Suresh, on a mediocre story with no thrills or grip. The slow pacing, weak engagement, and flat characters turn it into a forgettable outing. Skip it and there are far better options in theaters and on OTT to watch this weekend.

Times Of India (Rating: 2.5/5):

During the intermission, a fellow audience member likened the storytelling experience to listening to a crime-comedy modulated into a children’s tale, and I coudn’t help but agree. In the end, whatever had made me chuckle was from this dark comedy lugging around a story as lifeless as the corpse at its centre.
