Top Reviewers:
TELUGUCINEMA.COM (Rating: 2.25/5):
“Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi” communicates a relevant message against domestic abuse and reflects on what women truly seek from relationships, peppered with occasional humour. While the intent is honest and the performances are earnest, the narration lacks its punch.
GREAT ANDHRA (Rating: 2.5/5):
Overall, Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi is a fairly faithful remake of Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey. Strong performances by Tharun Bhascker and Eesha Rebba, and a fun first half work in the film’s favour. However, the weak emotional payoff in the second half affects the overall impact. Those who haven’t watched the original can still give this film a try.
MIRCHI9 (Rating: 2.75/5):
Overall, the film delivers a decent, fun-filled first half, but the second half derails, with neither the humor nor the emotional tracks landing effectively. Watch it for light entertainment, but keep your expectations reasonable.
123TELUGU.COM (Rating: 2.5/5):
On the whole, Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi is a black comedy that works in parts. Tharun Bhascker and Eesha Rebba deliver satisfactory performances, and a few comic moments click. However, the slow second half and lack of fresh elements restrict its appeal. Viewers who have not seen the original may find it passable, while others might feel underwhelmed.
