As an actor “Appu Chesi Pappu Kudu” was Jaggayya’s first film in Vijaya Vauhini Studios. Jaggayya replaced Akkineni Nageswara Rao due to scheduling conflicts. Akkineni was busy working two shifts those days. He was not able to give dates for a full-length character in Appu Chesi Pappu Kudu. Jaggayya worked with L.V.Prasad as a voice artist for the Telugu dubbed version of movie Manohara (1954), so L.V. Prasad helped Jaggayya to enter Appu Chesi Pappu Kudu movie as director’s choice.
