Top Reviewers:

TELUGU360 (Rating: 2.75/5):

Unlike many half-baked franchise-minded action dramas, Kingdom gives us a fairly complete arc while still laying the groundwork for a sequel. Despite a slightly uneven and unconvincing latter half about the hero and his crown, the film scores with its emotional ambition, immersive craft, and a striking Vijay Deverakonda performance that reminds you why he matters. If only it had held its nerve till the very end, this could have been a knockout.

GREAT ANHRA (Rating: 2.5/5):

Altogether, Kingdom turns out to be a predictable flick on brotherhood. Gowtam Tinnanuri came up with a good idea and got the optimum performances from Vijay Devarakonda and Satyadev. However, the weak execution, missing emotions, dragging narration, screenplay, and routine elements played the spoilsport. Lack of freshness in the story, except for the backdrop and the convenient scenes, turned the film into an ordinary one. The missing soul in the story killed the attempts of the makers.

INDIA TODAY (Rating: 2.25/5):

Kingdom is a visually grand spy thriller anchored by Vijay Deverakonda’s committed performance and Anirudh’s electrifying music. The screenplay, however, offers limited freshness and fails to sustain momentum in its second half. If you came for stylish action and star power, the film delivers—but those seeking narrative depth and originality may come away feeling shortchanged.

123TELUGU (Rating: 3/5):

On the whole, Kingdom is a watchable action drama. Vijay Deverakonda’s composed performance adds weight, and the film benefits from decent visuals. Though the narrative takes its time and the emotional depth isn’t fully explored, the film manages to stay afloat. It may not break new ground, but with modest expectations, Kingdom offers a passable and watchable experience.

Times Of India (Rating: 3.25/5):

Kingdom is not about flashy heroism or exaggerated showdowns. It is an action drama that finds strength in its emotional weight. It marks a return to form for Vijay Deverakonda, who finds the right balance between intensity and vulnerability. It’s a well-crafted action drama with emotional integrity and visual flair. Nitpicking aside, Kingdom delivers an impactful cinematic experience.
