Recently Kancharapalem has been rejected from getting nominated for the National Awards because it was produced by Praveena Paruchuri, a US citizen of Indian origin. Now, the film has won the Best Telugu Film award in the first Critics Choice Film Awards which was held in Mumbai last night. ‘Care of Kancharapalem’ is being ranked top compared to other hits like Rangasthalam and Mahanati to win the award at CCFA last night.
